The eye of the storm is estimated to reach Clay County at 2 pm. As of 12:30 pm, the lights were flickering occasionally, but being safe within the school, the family was enjoying lunch. The shelter provides three meals a day, however, the family also brought food with them, so they're well off.
I'm expecting to get another update soon, however if cell service is knocked out by the storm, it may be a little while before I hear from anyone. Rest assured, I will provide more updates as I get them!
