An Opportunity For Kindness

"Wherever there is a human being, there is an opportunity for a kindness." - Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Today we visited Freeport Primary School to donate 14 pairs of The-Shoe-That-Grows. The event was co-ordinated by Tasha Rolle, here at Grand Bahama Yacht Club, and the Vice-Principal of Freeport Primary, Tammy Elliot.

Fourteen lucky children were given brand new shoes that will adjust to their foot size for years to come. Each pair is good for 5 sizes, which should mean that they have strong, well-made shoes for the next five years.

Freeport News was on hand as well and covered the event, which has been published in the local newspaper.

We have had a few people contact us wishing to make a donation towards more shoes for children in need (since Hurricane Matthew last fall there are a lot of kids in need here). We are arranging for another order of shoes. If you can help out we would really appreciate it. It costs about $25 for one pair of shoes. If you can spare that, please contact us. If that is too much, then anything you can spare would be helpful.
